Word on the Street puts a human face on a set of medical data that was being ignored by funders.

Filmed on the streets of Nairobi and Kisumu, young women and men speak candidly about sex, relationships, HIV, other STIs, and pregnancy. Alongside researchers, they make the case for multipurpose prevention technologies, products in development that could prevent HIV, other STIs, and unintended pregnancy all at once.

Directed by Union Movie Works with a local crew, in partnership with Blackwell Films Africa. Conceived together with CAMI Health and KEMRI, and supported by the ViiV Healthcare Positive Action Programme.
